Baku: 'When building water supply systems, not only water supply, but also wastewater management should be considered,' said Norio Saito, Senior Director for ADB's Water and Urban Development Sector Office, during the event entitled "UN 2026 Water Conference: Urban Housing Roadmap" as part of WUF13.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Saito highlighted the need for a comprehensive approach in infrastructure development. He noted that alongside water supply, wastewater management is crucial. Saito also emphasized the importance of addressing solid waste management to improve overall infrastructure systems.
