Tashkent: Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan participated in an online ceremony for the inauguration and groundbreaking of Azerbaijani projects in Uzbekistan. The event, held in Tashkent, marked the launch of several significant initiatives.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ceremony included the inauguration of 'Davr Bank' (AR International Bank), a gypsum plant ('Matanat-A'), and two STEAM schools named after Landau ('Landau Education Group'). These projects signify Azerbaijan's expanding footprint in Uzbekistan's economic and educational sectors.

In addition, groundbreaking ceremonies were conducted for five new SOCAR filling stations, the 'Sea Breeze Uzbekistan' residential and recreational complex ('Agalarov Development'), the 'Baku City' residential complex ('TuranAZ'), a silver ore processing and concentration plant ('Sur Gold and Silver Project'), and fruit orchards ('Gold Fresh Fruits'). These developments highlight the growing bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in various sectors.
