Shusha: Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan visited the first residential complex constructed in Shusha City. The visit took place on June 23, marking a significant milestone for the city.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aydin Karimov, who serves as the Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district, briefed President Berdimuhamedov on the features and significance of the new residential complex. The foundation of this complex was laid by President Aliyev in 2021, and it spans nearly eight hectares.
The complex consists of twenty-three buildings with a total of 450 apartments. These apartments vary in size, with 28 one-room units, 195 two-room units, 190 three-room units, 30 four-room units, and seven five-room units. The apartments have been allocated to former internally displaced persons and also serve as official housing for individuals employed in various state institutions in Shusha.
Extensive landscaping and construction efforts have been undertaken to ensure the comfort and recreation of the residents. Green areas have been developed, providing a pleasant environment, and all necessary conditions have been provided to ensure a high standard of living for the inhabitants.
