Khankendi: Elchin Yusubov, the Special Representative of the President in Khankendi, as well as the Aghdara and Khojali districts, has announced that 28,000 people are currently residing in the city of Khankendi. This information was shared during a briefing with the diplomatic corps at the Culture Center in Khankendi, according to APA's correspondent on the ground in Karabakh.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Yusubov emphasized the ongoing process of returning the population that was previously displaced from Khankendi. He highlighted that more than 3,000 students have now settled in the city and are attending school, representing over 10 percent of the total population.
Yusubov detailed the ongoing developments in the city, noting the construction of new residential buildings and parks, as well as the laying of modern roads. He mentioned that efforts to demolish structures that do not align with the city's appearance or modern urban planning standards have been intensified. Simultaneously, design work for the construction of modern facilities that meet new standards has begun.
