Khojavend: Nearly 4,500 people have been successfully resettled in the Khojavend district, according to Emin Huseynov, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts. Huseynov made this announcement during a media briefing, highlighting the ongoing efforts to repatriate residents to the area.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Huseynov shared that the resettlement initiative, known as the Great Return, began a year ago. This initiative has already seen 1,083 families, totaling nearly 4,500 individuals, return to their ancestral homes across eight residential settlements in the district. The residents are now re-establishing their lives in the Khojavend district, which is also celebrating its first official Khojavend City Day.
