Baku: On November 6, the Baku Military Court continued the trial of Armenian citizens accused of involvement in a criminal organization, with the state prosecutors issuing the indictment, APA reports. The court session began with the presentation of documents and evidence that confirmed the accused individuals’ involvement in the criminal activities.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor General Vusal Aliyev presented evidence related to Arayik Harutyunyan. The evidence demonstrated that Harutyunyan joined the criminal organization in December 1991 and was involved in various criminal activities until September 20, 2023. Harutyunyan, along with his brother, participated in crimes against Azerbaijan in 1990, including the Karkijahan and Khojaly battles.

The documents revealed that Harutyunyan played a direct role in maintaining the combat capability of enemy forces, ensuring the supply of armed groups, and facilitating illegal military operations. Video materials shown in court confirmed his visits to formerly occupied Azerbaijani territories, where he inspected combat positions and assessed the stationed forces’ potential. This evidence underscored his significant role in supporting armed aggression against Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Additionally, the documents indicated Harutyunyan’s involvement in crimes and terrorist acts against Azerbaijani civilians, which he publicly justified on social media. The court proceedings continue against Armenian citizens accused of war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide, and other offenses related to Armenia’s military aggression against Azerbaijan.
