Prime minister ali asadov met today with a delegation of the board of directors of the asian development bank (adb): During the meeting, the high level of the long-term and mutually beneficial partnership established between Azerbaijan and the ADB was noted with satisfaction.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the importance of jointly implemented projects in transport, energy, water supply, finance, education, healthcare, and other areas was emphasized. It was noted that there are good opportunities for expanding cooperation within the framework of the public-private partnership mechanism.

The Country Partnership Strategy for 2025-2029 was assessed as an important framework for a new stage of Azerbaijan-ADB cooperation. It was highlighted that the new projects planned in the fields of energy, transport, and water infrastructure align with the country's long-term development priorities.

The prospects for further developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank were discussed at the meeting. Azerbaijan's Minister of Finance Sahil Babayev attended the meeting.
