Eco-activists and NGO representatives continue protest action in Shusha city- on the Lachin road against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the territories of Azerbaijan under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers, especially the “Gizilbulag” gold and “Demirli” copper-molybdenum deposits, APA’s correspondent in Shusha reports.

Despite the frosty and cold weather, the action continued throughout the night.

Currently, eco-activists and youth volunteers are chanting slogans “Azerbaijan is awake, it supports its wealth!”, “Azerbaijan is united, it owns its wealth!”, “Stop environmental crime!”, “Stop ecoterror!”, “Берегите природу!”, “Экоциду нет! Мониторингу да!” in the different languages.
