Ousmane Demb©l© scored in the 13th minute, and Gon§alo Ramos netted a critical goal in the 90+5 minute for PSG. Meanwhile, Mason Greenwood scored a penalty for Marseille in the 76th minute, and PSG's William Pacho scored an own goal in the 87th minute. The Parisians triumphed in the penalty shootout with a 4-1 scoreline.

Russian PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov missed the match due to an injury. He sustained a hand injury on December 17 during the penalty shootout against Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup match.

PSG has now secured the French Super Cup for the 14th time, marking a tournament record. The Parisian club has dominated the last four editions of the competition. Their closest rival, Lyon, has won the competition eight times.
