BAKU — The recent parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were conducted with commendable transparency, stated Ali Asghar Mehammadi Sijani, Deputy Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The observation mission included visits to 16 polling stations, affirming the elections' integrity.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the observations confirmed the absence of any irregularities and showcased the responsible conduct of polling station workers. He highlighted the adherence to Islamic principles during the elections and congratulated the Azerbaijani populace on their democratic participation.
