Putin Highlights Expansive Opportunities for Russo-Azerbaijani Collaboration


BAKU — During a limited-format meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the extensive potential for collaboration between Moscow and Baku. The discussion underscored the dynamic nature of the bilateral relationship, particularly in economic and trade sectors.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, The Russian President pointed to the successful development of trade and economic ties, noting that while the current turnover is commendable, it still does not fully reflect the capabilities of both nations. “Indeed, we can talk not only about energy, industrial cooperation, transportation, logistics, and light industry. We have many areas for joint collaboration,” Putin stated, highlighting the significant Russian investments in the Azerbaijani economy and the presence of numerous enterprises with Russian capital operating in Azerbaijan.
