Baku: Azerbaijan’s champion club Qarabag has climbed 17 spots in the latest world club rankings.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Apasport.az reports that the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) provided the rankings, which show Qarabag moving from the 82nd to the 65th position with 192.25 points.
Other Azerbaijani clubs also made significant advancements in the rankings. Sabah has moved up from the 296th to the 276th place, Zira from 407th to 387th, and Araz-Nakhchivan slightly improved from 391st to 390th. The rankings feature a total of 502 clubs worldwide, with French club PSG leading the list with 567 points.
