Qatar Condemns Iran’s Drone Attacks on Azerbaijan: Hostile Actions Mark Dangerous Escalation

Qatar: Qatar has condemned Iran's drone attacks on Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar said in a statement, APA reports. 'The State of Qatar strongly condemns the targeting of the brotherly Republic of Trkiye with ballistic missiles and the targeting of an airport in the Republic of Azerbaijan with Iranian drones. These hostile actions represent a dangerous escalation and a violation of the sovereignty of states through Iran's irresponsible attacks. This is also a direct threat to peace and stability in the region,' the statement said. According to Azeri-Press News Agency, drone attacks were carried out today from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. One drone fell on the terminal building of Nakhchivan Airport, while another landed near a school building in Shakarabad village. The airport building sustained damage, and four people were injured.
