Baku: The Red Hearts Foundation, established on the initiative of Kapital Bank volunteers and quickly gaining recognition through large-scale social projects, continues to uphold and develop Azerbaijan's charitable traditions and plays a key role in fostering a culture of philanthropy. This year, the Foundation celebrated its fifth anniversary.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Foundation marked its anniversary by bringing together friends and partners at the event '€š¬¦‚¬Å¡¬€¦‚¬Å“r?ks?n' (You are Heart). During the gathering, the five-year report on the organization's activities was presented to the public. The event, supported by The Ritz-Carlton Baku, gathered Foundation representatives, donors, partners, employees, and volunteers, and was remembered for its engaging program and warm atmosphere. Farid Hidayatzada, a Board member and Chief Corporate Sales Officer of Kapital Bank, emphasized the Foundation's commitment to unity and expressed gratitude to everyone involved.
Yusif Poladov, President of the Red Hearts Foundation, presented the Foundation's report, covering areas such as 'Society', 'Environment', and 'Animal protection'. The report highlighted projects supporting socially vulnerable groups, events in orphanages and shelters, aid campaigns for low-income families, an educational scholarship program, health awareness initiatives, tree-planting campaigns, coastal clean-up projects, and support for animal shelters.
In 2025 alone, the Foundation received 476,063 AZN in donations from 10,900 contributors, benefiting 6,247 individuals with the help of 462 volunteers. Over the past five years, 50,804 donors have contributed, with total donations reaching 5,003,100 AZN. The Foundation's work has included removing over 9,500 kg of waste, collecting 3,257 kg of batteries, planting 7,298 trees, providing housing for 66 families of martyrs and veterans, and awarding educational scholarships to 74 students.
The Foundation's achievements have been supported by more than 400 volunteers and over 30 partners. At the event's conclusion, partners who have supported the Foundation's mission were honored with the 'The Golden Heart Award'. Notable honorees included Kapital Bank, PASHA Holding, and The Ritz-Carlton Baku. The evening concluded with a cultural program.
'Red Hearts' was founded in December 2019 by Kapital Bank employees and operates as a foundation since 2020, contributing to philanthropy in Azerbaijan by addressing issues such as environmental protection and education.
