Remains of Azerbaijani Soldier Mubariz Shahmurov Missing Since First Karabakh War Laid to Rest in Baku

Baku: The remains of Mubariz Agahuseyn Shahmurov, an Azerbaijani soldier who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been returned to his family. Today, a farewell ceremony was held at his family’s residence on Ataturk Avenue in the Narimanov district of Baku.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, after the farewell ceremony, Mubariz Shahmurov’s remains were interred at the Martyrs’ Alley in the Keshla settlement of the Nizami district. Shahmurov was born in 1963 in the village of Navdan, located in the Sabirabad district, and went missing on February 26, 1992, in Khojaly.
