Remains of Missing Soldier from First Karabakh War Laid to Rest in Surakhani

Surakhani: The remains of serviceman Sahil Nuraddin Ibrahimov, who was believed to have gone missing during the First Karabakh War, were handed over to his family today. A farewell ceremony was held for the martyr in the Surakhani district. Later, the remains of Sahil Ibrahimov were buried at the Amirjan cemetery in the Surakhani district.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, relatives of the martyr and members of the public attended the ceremony. A volley of gunfire was fired during the burial, and the National Anthem was performed by a military orchestra. Sahil Nuraddin Ibrahimov was born in 1970 in the village of Chivinli, Amasiya district. He went missing on February 2, 1993, in the direction of the village of Mehmane in the Aghdara district.
