Baku: At the opening of the 2025 Caspian Oil and Gas Expo, Wyatt Toehlke, Senior Advisor for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, read a letter from President Donald Trump, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan said, APA-Economics reports. “Over the past 30 years, our two nations, both blessed with energy abundance, have enjoyed a tremendously productive partnership in the hydrocarbon sector,” the letter said.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Trump’s message underscored the long-standing cooperation between the United States and Azerbaijan in the energy sector. The letter emphasized the importance of this partnership in contributing to energy security and economic development for both countries.
