Remains of Vagif Maharramov, Missing Martyr of First Karabakh War, Buried in Neftchala

Neftchala: The remains of Vagif Mansim oghlu Maharramov, a martyr who went missing during the First Karabakh War, have been handed over to his family, APA's Mil-Mughan bureau reports. A farewell ceremony for martyred serviceman Vagif Maharramov was held at the house where he was born and raised in the city of Neftchala.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony was attended by the martyr's family members, representatives of the district Executive Authority, law enforcement officers, servicemen, war veterans, and members of the public. A funeral prayer was performed, and the martyr's remains were laid to rest in the row of martyrs at Astanli village cemetery, accompanied by a military orchestra and a gun salute.

Vagif Maharramov was born on July 3, 1971, in the city of Neftchala. He took part in battles during the First Karabakh War and went missing on September 6, 1992, during battles for Childiran village of Aghdara district.
