Baku: A delegation led by Elchin Yusubov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, met with Florentin Nicolae Tu?, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania's Maramure? region, to discuss economic ties.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting included businessmen and local entrepreneurs from Maramure?. They explored potential cooperation between Azerbaijan's Garabagh region and Romania's Maramure? region. Florentin Nicolae Tu? emphasized interest in establishing direct contacts and organizing reciprocal visits to boost trade turnover.

Elchin Yusubov shared information about ongoing construction and infrastructure projects in Garabagh, highlighting favorable conditions for investors and tax incentives. He noted that enhancing interregional cooperation could further diversify economic relations. He invited Maramure? entrepreneurs to visit Garabagh, suggesting this could open new opportunities for both regions.

As part of their visit, the Azerbaijani delegation toured the 'Aramis' factory, a major furniture manufacturer in Maramure?. The factory's management expressed interest in collaborating with Garabagh and planned to visit the region soon.
