Baku: The Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theater recently captivated audiences with its unique staging of "Romeo and Juliet," inspired by the timeless motifs of William Shakespeare's celebrated drama. The performance was graced by the presence of notable figures, including Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and head of the IDEA Public Union, and Alena Aliyeva.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the production employed symbolic stage solutions and plastic means of expression to explore the eternal conflict between Life and Death. This innovative approach was achieved in a succinct 55-minute performance, brought to life through the creative vision of Jeyhun Dadashov. Dadashov was instrumental in shaping the production, overseeing both the stage design and musical composition.

The cast featured a lineup of talented artists, including Honored Artists Bahruz Ahmadli and Sabina Hajiyeva. They were joined on stage by actors Elnur Ismayilov, Ali Alizada, Nurida Musabeyli, among others, each contributing to the evocative portrayal of the classic tale.
