Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump has secured peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated in a post on his X account marking the first anniversary of the Washington meeting, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Rubio's post highlighted Trump's role as a peacemaker. The post emphasized that one year ago, Trump facilitated a significant meeting at the White House where Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed a Joint Declaration. This agreement was seen as a major breakthrough for both nations.
