Baku: Pursuant to the activity plan approved for the current year, an annual meeting was held with the participation of military attach©s and military representatives serving at the Embassies of the Republic of Azerbaijan in foreign countries, the Defence Ministry told AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, at the opening of the event, the Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Elchin Abdullayev, delivered a speech providing detailed information on the development of military diplomacy, enlargement of international military cooperation, and key tasks ahead.

During the meeting, reports were presented by military attach©s and representatives on the work carried out during the reporting period, the current state of bilateral military cooperation with the respective countries, as well as prospective areas of activity. The meeting focused on prospects for the development of international military cooperation, and relevant tasks were assigned regarding the responsibilities of military diplomats.

Representatives of the main departments and departments of the Ministry of Defense, as well as relevant government agencies, delivered presentations on current issues during the event. Additionally, the military attach©s and representatives visited the 'Iglim' Scientific and Production Enterprise of the Ministry of Defense Industry to observe production capabilities and innovations.

At the conclusion of the event, participants visited Victory Park and took a group photo.
