Baku: Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mikhail Yevdokimov, emphasized the significance of the Sea Breeze project as a major tourism and cultural attraction in Azerbaijan. Addressing the panel session titled 'New Geography of Investments' at the Sea Breeze resort, Yevdokimov highlighted the ongoing major tourism and infrastructure projects in Azerbaijan that are enhancing humanitarian ties and bilateral relations with Russia.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Yevdokimov pointed out that the Sea Breeze project has become one of Azerbaijan's most recognized ventures, notable for its advanced tourism infrastructure. The project has attracted significant attention in recent years, marking its place as a prominent symbol of Azerbaijan's tourism development.
Yevdokimov mentioned that Russian tourists are increasingly interested in not only Baku's historic areas and the White City but also in Azerbaijan's burgeoning resort projects. He emphasized the growing humanitarian and cultural interactions between Russia and Azerbaijan and noted that the mutual tourist flow is expected to rise. The annual number of Azerbaijani tourists visiting Russia could potentially reach one million, reflecting the strengthening ties between the two nations.
