Russian Foreign Ministry Addresses Armenia’s Ceasefire Violation During Putin’s Visit to Baku


OUAGADOUGOU — The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has commented on Armenia’s violation of the ceasefire in the direction of Nakhchivan, which occurred on the day of President Vladimir Putin’s state visit to Baku. Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian MFA, discussed the incident during a briefing today.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, zakharova noted that the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan had thoroughly discussed the issue of reconciliation between Baku and Yerevan at a joint press conference. She emphasized that all efforts in this regard align with the strategic relationships Russia maintains with both countries. Zakharova called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to exercise restraint, avoid actions that could escalate tensions, and resolve all disputes peacefully through political and diplomatic means.
