Moscow: Russia’s oil and gas revenues experienced a significant decline in November 2025, plummeting by 33.8% compared to the same month last year. The revenues dropped from 801.7 billion rubles to 530.9 billion rubles, as reported by APA-Economics, citing the Russian Ministry of Finance.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Russia also saw a 40.2% decrease in oil and gas revenues in November compared to October 2025, where figures stood at 888.6 billion rubles. This downward trend underscores the challenges faced by Russia’s energy sector in the current fiscal landscape.
Over the period from January to November 2025, oil and gas revenues fell by 21.4%, totaling 8.029 trillion rubles. In contrast, the same period last year recorded revenues of 10.341 trillion rubles, highlighting a substantial year-on-year reduction.
In terms of currency exchange, the official rate set by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan indicates that 100 Russian rubles are currently equivalent to 2.1951 manats, reflecting on the economic dynamics between the neighboring regions.
