Baku: Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan are united by historical roots and spiritual closeness, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov stated during the third meeting of the Interstate Council of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan in the city of Cholpon-Ata.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Zhaparov praised the leadership of Azerbaijan, acknowledging the country's confident development and strengthening of its international position under its current leadership. He noted Azerbaijan's significant role in ensuring peace and stability in the region, highlighting the country's impressive achievements and the consistent implementation of large-scale reforms. He emphasized that these modern achievements are built upon a solid foundation laid by the National Leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, and that the constructive path initiated by Aliyev continues under current leadership.
President Zhaparov remarked on the shared historical and spiritual connections between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, emphasizing that these ties are mirrored in the rich cultural heritage of both nations. He reiterated that the values shared by the two countries are deeply rooted in their common history and spiritual bonds.
