Baku: Saudi Arabian Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, has expressed his admiration for Azerbaijan's urban development efforts during his participation in the 13th session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13). Al-Hogail extended his gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the high-level hospitality and commended the people of Azerbaijan for their warm reception.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Al-Hogail noted the similarities between Azerbaijan's 'Green Baku' initiative and Saudi Arabia's 'Green Saudi' initiative. He emphasized Azerbaijan's focus on enhancing the quality of life and pointed out that both nations share aligned approaches in their development strategies. The minister expressed optimism for future cooperation and partnerships between the two countries.

The minister further expressed his hopes for the success of the exhibition and anticipated the signing of new agreements between Saudi and Azerbaijani private companies.
