Baku: Former Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz highlighted the evolving nature of warfare tactics used by Iran during a panel discussion at the 13th Global Baku Forum. Speaking on 'Global Security and the Balance of Power: Respect for International Law, New Issues, New Challenges,' Kurz emphasized the necessity of the United Nations in addressing these emerging threats.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Kurz remarked that Iran is no longer conducting war in a traditional manner. He described the current military strategies as a constant threat, posing the question of what constitutes a legitimate response to such scenarios. Kurz noted that the challenges faced today are unprecedented in their form, with missile attacks becoming a tangible risk. He highlighted that attacks on airports and consequential difficulties faced by infrastructure projects are indicative of the changing landscape of global security threats.
