Secondary School No. 1 in Karkijahan Settlement Reopens After Extensive Renovation

Khankendi: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening ceremony of the newly renovated Secondary School No. 1 in the Karkijahan settlement of Khankendi. The event marked the completion of a major renovation project aimed at elevating the educational infrastructure of the school to accommodate 624 students.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Minister of Science and Education, Emin Amrullayev, provided details about the project to President Aliyev. The renovation was executed with high standards and completed swiftly, resulting in a modern educational facility. The school now boasts 17 classrooms and specialized laboratories, including STEAM and IT rooms, military training classrooms, and dedicated spaces for biology, chemistry, physics, and technology classes.

The newly refurbished building also features club rooms, a pre-school preparation room, a library with a reading hall, a gymnasium, an assembly hall, and a cafeteria. Each area is fully equipped with necessary educational tools and resources to support both teaching and learning activities. Furthermore, an outdoor sports facility has been added to the premises, enhancing the school's ability to offer a rounded educational experience.

The extensive renovations ensure comprehensive conditions for organizing a high-quality educational process, thereby providing a conducive learning environment for students and staff alike.
