Serbian President Advocates for Increased Trade with Azerbaijan

Baku: Economic relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia should be further expanded, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said during a business meeting with entrepreneurs operating in the country as part of his visit to Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Vucic expressed that there are opportunities to explore new areas for cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan. He emphasized that the existing friendship between the two nations should be mirrored in economic collaborations, suggesting that the trade turnover should be five times higher than its current level.

President Vucic highlighted the potential of Serbia's spa and mountain resorts, particularly in the eastern region, which he described as having untouched nature. He stated that Serbia is keen on attracting Azerbaijani investors to these areas, viewing it as a prospect for mutual cooperation.
