Serbian President Announces Upcoming Visit to Azerbaijan

Belgrade: Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has announced his plans to visit Azerbaijan soon. The announcement was made during the first meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Serbia, held in Belgrade with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in attendance.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Vucic emphasized the need to achieve significant results before his visit. He highlighted discussions with President Aliyev concerning the gas-fired power plant in Dubravka. Vucic expressed his request for Aliyev to personally address this issue, noting his candid discussion regarding Serbia's capabilities and limitations. Vucic received assurances from President Aliyev, who committed to providing substantial assistance. The completion of technical justification work was identified as a prerequisite for expediting subsequent processes.
