Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has announced plans to increase the volume of natural gas exports to Serbia. "Our relations in the energy sector are now developing in a multifaceted format," he stated during a press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that Azerbaijan had already commenced exporting natural gas to Serbia and that the decision has been made to enhance these exports. He noted that by converting the exported gas into electricity, it would not only support the production of clean electricity but also create opportunities for the Serbian market and potential future exports.
