Serbian State Secretary Engages with Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization

Baku: Nevena Jovanovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, visited the headquarters of the Non-Aligned Movement Youth Organization (NAMYO): During the visit, the Serbian State Secretary, while speaking to NAMYO members, shared her insights on the involvement of young people in diplomacy and international relations, highlighting the essential role they play in the shaping of multilateral cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, in her remarks, Nevena Jovanovic underlined that the fundamental principles of the Non-Aligned Movement are more relevant today than ever before amidst the backdrop of current global processes.

During the QandA session, inquiries centered on Serbia's historical role as a founding member of the Non-Aligned Movement, as well as the country's contributions to addressing global challenges as an observer country.

The discussions featured an interactive exchange of views on the growing role of international platforms such as the NAM in fostering dialogue on multilateralism and international cooperation, as well as Serbia's current foreign policy line and strategic priorities amidst rising global uncertainties.
