Share of Non-Oil and Gas Sector in Azerbaijan’s GDP Rises

Baku: In the first four months of 2025, Azerbaijan's gross domestic product (GDP) reached AZN 39 billion 305.8 million, marking a 0.9 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistics Committee reported that the GDP produced in the non-oil and gas sector during this period was AZN 26 billion 449.5 million. This sector accounted for 67.3% of the GDP, reflecting a rise of 3.1 percentage points from the previous year's figure.

In the corresponding period of the previous year, the non-oil and gas sector held a 64.2% share in the GDP structure. This increase underscores a growing diversification in Azerbaijan's economy, focusing more on sectors beyond oil and gas.
