Shavkat Mirziyoyev: Azerbaijani President’s Current State Visit to Uzbekistan is of Historic Significance

Tashkent: The Azerbaijani President's current state visit to Uzbekistan is undoubtedly of historic significance, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said in a joint press statement with President Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the President of Uzbekistan emphasized that every issue agreed upon and every document signed represents a historic event for bilateral cooperation. Mirziyoyev highlighted the signing of the Treaty on Eternal Friendship between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan as a demonstration of the high level their relations have already reached.

Mirziyoyev noted that the relations between the two countries extend beyond their governments, encompassing regions, business communities, and parliaments. He described the treaty not merely as a document but as a reflection of their joint efforts to deepen interaction, expand opportunities for cooperation, and build a common future.
