Baku: Citizens using the Birbank mobile application can now verify their identity instantly through the facial recognition technology of 'SIMA Imza.' This new feature allows for the creation of a digital signature within just one minute, enhancing the process of remote identity verification and document signing across the Bir ecosystem.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, 'SIMA Imza' is available for both new and existing Birbank users. Existing users can access this feature by logging out and back into the mobile app. This integration aims to provide a faster and more convenient digital identification experience, contributing to the broader development of the digital ecosystem.

The 'SIMA Imza' digital signature was developed by AzInTelecom, a company under AZCON Holding. The application has been downloaded over 6.5 million times, and users can obtain a digital signature free of charge via the 'SIMA Imza' mobile app without needing to visit a service center.
