Aghdam: A mass poisoning incident involving six members of a single family was reported in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district, according to APA’s local bureau. The alarming event took place in the Efetli village, with all affected individuals being promptly admitted to the Aghdam District Central Hospital.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the family members, identified as Gulbuta Asadova (born in 1962), Elchin Asadov (born in 2001), Elvin Asadov (born in 2003), Ismayil Ismayilli (born in 1993), Turkan Asadova (born in 2006), and Nezaket Piriyeva (born in 2006), exhibited symptoms of poisoning. After receiving necessary first aid treatment at the hospital, all six individuals were discharged.
Initial investigations suggest that the source of the poisoning could be linked to a cake consumed by the family. Further details surrounding the incident are yet to be revealed as authorities continue to examine the case to determine the exact cause of the poisoning.
