Slovak Minister Advocates for Water Policy as a Key International Focus

Baku: Slovakia is advocating for water policy to become a central topic in international relations, according to Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment Tomas Taraba. Speaking to journalists during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Taraba emphasized Slovakia's reputation within the European Union for its extensive experience in water management.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Taraba addressed the issue of water scarcity, noting that while Slovakia has not yet faced severe shortages, the country has significant expertise in delivering quality water to urban areas. He highlighted Slovakia's commitment to sharing its knowledge and experience to support communities and ensure adequate water resources through effective management. Taraba stressed that elevating water policy to a key topic in international relations is a crucial priority for Slovakia.
