Bratislava: A video message from Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has been released, APA reports. Robert Fico specifically addressed Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev's stance regarding the European Parliament in his message.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Slovak Prime Minister noted that during his visit to Yerevan, he witnessed Azerbaijan's sovereign foreign policy. "President Aliyev spoke the truth. President Aliyev was right when he stated that the European Parliament should first and foremost deal with Europe's own problems, rather than spreading lies and interfering in the affairs of others. And we have plenty of such problems," the Slovak Prime Minister emphasized.
Robert Fico also drew parallels between Baku's position and what he described as pressure exerted on Slovakia by European institutions. He criticized the recent European Parliament resolution calling on the European Commission to suspend European funds allocated to Bratislava, describing it as another 'masterpiece' of European bureaucracy.
