Slovak President Advocates for Joint Projects with Azerbaijan

Baku: Slovak Republic President Peter Pellegrini emphasized the importance of expanding collaborative efforts with Azerbaijan during a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. "Our goal is to implement as many joint projects as possible," Pellegrini stated, highlighting the potential for bilateral cooperation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Pellegrini expressed satisfaction over the presence of a significant business delegation accompanying him on his visit to Azerbaijan. He announced that the Slovak Minister of Economy, along with his Azerbaijani counterpart, would inaugurate the upcoming Azerbaijan-Slovakia Business Forum. This forum aims to unite Slovak and Azerbaijani enterprises, facilitating the discovery of new avenues for partnership.

Pellegrini stressed the importance of moving beyond a one-way trade relationship, advocating for joint projects and collaborations in mutually beneficial areas. He underscored the need for joint production, technology transfer expansion, and initiatives that offer equitable advantages to both nations, ensuring that cooperation serves the interests of both Slovakia and Azerbaijan.
