Baku: Slovak President Peter Pellegrini has expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan for its crucial support in supplying natural gas during a joint press statement with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Pellegrini extended his thanks during the meeting, highlighting Azerbaijan's prompt response amid the energy crisis. He acknowledged the significant role that Azerbaijan played by offering part of its gas reserves to Slovakia, which helped address the energy shortfall that occurred following the halt of gas transit through Ukraine.
