Baku: A panel session on artificial intelligence, visual presentations, and next-generation experiences was held within the framework of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, APA's correspondent dispatched to Shusha reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, tech blogger Farid Pardashunas stated that people are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence to obtain news. "People no longer want to use even social media to follow the news agenda. Statistics show that around 10% of users read the news through artificial intelligence," he said. Pardashunas also noted that despite advancements in AI, professions requiring human creativity will not disappear entirely.

Tech blogger Tariyel Aghazade, who also spoke at the panel, highlighted artificial intelligence as one of the most significant technological innovations of the era. He pointed out that false information generated through AI can appear highly professional, posing a serious risk. Aghazade emphasized the importance of improving digital literacy to prevent deception, such as using a bank's logo to mislead people, noting that such incidents are on the rise.

Political analyst Gela Vasadze added that while manipulation of public opinion is not new and not solely carried out through AI, it is crucial to question the sources of information. "Artificial intelligence makes our work much easier, but we must also take into account the risks and consequences it may create," Vasadze commented.

The panel session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, allowing for further discussion on the implications of AI in media.
