Baku: SOCAR, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, is exploring a new partnership with BYD to advance technological solutions. On August 4, Rovshan Najaf, SOCAR's President, met with P©ter Szijj¡rt³, BYD's Head of External Relations and New Business Development, to discuss potential areas of cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting involved a detailed briefing for the BYD delegation on SOCAR's green energy agenda, which includes several renewable energy initiatives being executed in collaboration with its partners. Both parties engaged in a dialogue about how renewable energy technologies could be integrated into industrial processes and explored the deployment of other advanced technological solutions. The discussions reflected a mutual interest in fostering cooperation in these areas.
