Baku: Babak Huseynov, Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), recently met with Wang Wei, Deputy General Manager of China Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC), to explore potential partnership opportunities.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on evaluating potential collaboration areas between SOCAR and COOEC, with both parties stressing the significance of expanding their cooperative efforts. A key point of discussion was the potential collaboration within the framework of the Absheron Full Field Development (FFD) project.

During the meeting, SOCAR representatives provided detailed insights into the company's strategic objectives and various energy projects currently underway both onshore and offshore. The discussions also included an exchange of views on other areas of mutual interest that could benefit both organizations.
