Baku:Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), recently met with Rami Yassine, President of the Eastern Hemisphere at Halliburton, to explore future cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Halliburton has maintained a successful operational presence in Azerbaijan for many years. Both parties expressed satisfaction with their current collaboration and discussed opportunities for expanding their partnership in SOCAR's projects within Azerbaijan and internationally.

During the meeting, SOCAR's initiatives in digitalization and artificial intelligence were highlighted, with particular recognition given to SOCAR's Carbamide Plant's inclusion in the World Economic Forum's Global Lighthouse Network.

The discussion also covered potential cooperation in oil and gas field development, improving production efficiency, and the application of innovative technologies. Both sides showed interest in these areas as part of their ongoing and future collaborative efforts.
