Baku:SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Askhat Khassenov, Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas, on November 3.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on the ongoing strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, particularly in the energy sector.

The leaders reviewed the implementation of the Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation signed between SOCAR and KazMunayGas in 2024. They discussed expanding cooperation in the transportation of Kazakh oil through Azerbaijan and explored opportunities for partnership in various areas of the energy sector.
