Baku: The State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) suspended gold sales in the second quarter of this year, the Fund said, APA-Economics reports.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, SOFAZ's gold reserves stood at 178.1 tonnes. As of July 1 this year, gold accounted for 31.4% of SOFAZ's investment portfolio, marking a decrease of 4.2 percentage points compared to April 1.
