Baku: In January-June of this year, the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) received 4,850.6 million manats from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) oil and gas field block and the Shah Deniz gas and condensate field block.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during the mentioned period, SOFAZ received 4,427.3 million manats from the ACG field. The Shah Deniz field, known for its gas and condensate production, contributed 423.3 million manats during the same period.

These figures reflect the significant role that the ACG and Shah Deniz fields play in Azerbaijan’s economy, with the ACG field being a major contributor to the national fund. The Shah Deniz field also continues to be a vital asset by adding a substantial amount to the country’s revenues.
