Baku: In January-June 2026, revenues from the sale of gas and condensate from the Shah Deniz field to the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) declined, APA-Economics reports. During the reporting period, the Fund received AZN 423.3 million from the Shah Deniz field. This marks a decrease of AZN 13.8 million, or 3.2%, compared to the same period in 2025, when the figure stood at AZN 437.1 million.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, overall, SOFAZ's revenues from the implementation of oil and gas agreements totaled AZN 5.7432 billion in January-June 2026. This represents an increase of AZN 789.8 million, or 15.9%, over the corresponding period of the previous year. During the reporting period, revenues from the sale of profit oil and gas amounted to AZN 4.9743 billion. Bonus payments and transit revenues contributed AZN 765.3 million, while acreage fees totaled AZN 3.6 million.
