Baku: The South Caucasus Pipeline Company (SCPC) reported expenditures of approximately $71 million in operating costs and $38 million in capital costs for the year 2025, as detailed in bp Azerbaijan's full year results released on Thursday.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the SCP has been operational since late 2006, facilitating the transport of Shah Deniz gas to Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Trkiye. The expanded section of this pipeline began commercial deliveries to Trkiye in June 2018, followed by deliveries to Europe in December 2020.
The company reported a daily average export throughput of 63.7 million cubic metres of gas over the past year, demonstrating its significant role in regional energy supply.
